Iowans Overwhelmingly Favor a Better Bottle Bill


According to the Des Moines Register's February 17, 2013 front-page article, an overwhelming majority (64%) of Iowan's support modernizing Iowa's Bottle Bill to include non-carbonated beverages such as water and sports drinks:

Nearly two out of every three people — or 64 percent — surveyed in The Des Moines Register’s latest Iowa Poll favor expanding the state’s so-called bottle bill to require deposits on containers other than alcoholic beverages and carbonated soft drinks.
